What are ATCs? Artist Trading Cards are small canvases, the size of a trading card (like a Pokemon or baseball card) that are created by artists and traded amongst other artists (and art enthusiasts) from all over the world. ATCs began in approximately 1997 by Swiss artist, M Vänçi Stirnemann, as a collaborative performance art form. Essentially there are no rules to the creation or subject matter of ATCs, except that they must measure 2.5 x 3.5 inches in size, just like the traditional trading card format.

Any medium can be used, such as pencils, markers, acrylic and watercolour paints, fabric, collage, anything you like! Artists will sign and date the back of the card and note any other information, such as a title and number (if the cards are a series). ATCs are a super fun art form for any age and skill level, and due to their size, they are a less intimidating canvas that can be completed in a short amount of time, making it easy to create several cards in one sitting.

There are many ATC trading communities across the globe, most of which can be found on social media, and as there is (generally) no monetary exchange for cards, trading cards with artists from all over the world to gain exclusive and unique artworks is incredibly exciting! And who doesn't love receiving happy mail?

Below is a collection of the cards I currently have available for trade. Feel free to use the Contact Form if you would like to organise a trade!
