My Word for 2023

Each year I choose a word that is my theme for the year. I've chosen words like inspire, create, manifest, etc, and that's how I've made my way through the year. This year, I didn't really put a lot of thought into it. I saw loads of social media posts on how people had chosen their words for 2023, but I hadn't really thought too much about it this year. After a few weeks however, I felt that a word had actually chosen ME for a change.

I have a lot of plans for this year, but in order for me to be able to follow through with these plans, I have a lot to learn. And not only that, but I have also been wanting to improve my own creative techniques, especially in regards to my mandalas and sacred geometry. I think my mandalas are unique to me, but I would like to learn more about sacred geometry and apply that more into my mandalas as well. There is a lot to learn about sacred geometry, and I have been so inspired by work from some incredible artists, such as Clarissa Grandi, Stephanie from Geometherapy and Zak Korvin. I have taken some courses by Clarissa and Stephanie, and highly recommend checking their workshops out if you can!

I've also been studying an Art Therapy course online too. I have been studying this course mainly to implement how art is therapeutic within the workshops that I will be holding in the future. My approach to art as therapy won't be for psychoanalysis, but to touch on the concept that art and creativity is therapeutic and how to apply this concept within your own creativity.

And of course, running a creative business comes with it's own challenges, of which there is much to learn as well!

So, with all that said, it is quite apparent that I indeed, have a lot to learn! And I am excited!
