Happy New Year 2023!
And here we are again, another year, another attempt at blogging. I have tried several times over many, many years to maintain some kind of regularity with blogging and I've always failed. But this year I am determined to give it a red hot go. In fact, this year I am determined to follow through on a lot of intentions I have made for myself. I've seen a lot of my creative friends take up blogging over the last 12 months or so, and im excited to give it another go myself.
Anyone who knows me, whether it be personally, or on social media, knows that I am pretty much constantly inspired. My brain is always swimming with ideas, but due to having a full time job, I never really get enough time to really follow through on a lot of creative projects, despite making time for myself to do so. The time I have is just never enough. In fact, I have just taken 4 days off work (after a hectic Christmas, and lead up to) and I have literally spent most of it working on several creative projects. One of my challenges for this year is to be creative daily, in some way or another. Recently I found an old planner made of Kraft-Tex paper fabric. I painted up the cover and discovered that the inserts were just perfect to do a small creative piece each day, for 365 days. So I have created a little hashtag for myself (and others) to follow throughout the year, on my Instagram account. #creativedaily2023 Once a week I'll post the little creations I have made, just so I'm not bombarding people with daily posts. And today was my very first creative piece!
I also have a few other ideas up my sleeve for 2023, and I am excited to reveal some of those ideas in the coming weeks. I really feel that a lot is in store for me this year. Over the years I have been on a slow, but steady, journey to discover my purpose. 2023 is going to be the year that everything comes to fruition, and I can't wait.
